Teaching Philosophy
Effective teaching at the graduate and executive level demands more than mastery of doctrine — it requires the ability to connect legal and policy frameworks to the messy realities of practice. My approach is grounded in case-based learning, drawing on situations I have encountered firsthand as a lawyer, executive, and advisor.
I believe the most valuable thing a practitioner-teacher can offer is honest perspective: what the law says, what institutions actually do, and where the two diverge. Students leave my courses not only with a command of the relevant frameworks, but with the judgment to apply them under uncertainty.
